News Subscription The News Subscription package offers 24-hours online access to projects in the pre-design and bidding process carried by the local Exchange. Information in the online news consists of Project Name, Bid Date/Time, Owner, Architect, brief project description, complete Bidders List (includes interested subs and suppliers), Complete Specification Index and Complete Index of Drawings. Daily E-mails encompass project information, bidders and addenda changes to supply subscribers with the most up-to-date coverage. The Storm offers two daily publications, The Daily News Update and The Daily Construction News Bulletin. The Daily News Update includes a two-day bid calendar, listing of new addenda received and new projects available on-line. The Daily Construction News Bulletin includes all the features offered in The Daily News Update, with the addition of projects on order and final bid update (listing of bidders and all addenda for projects bidding in two days). This option allows the subscriber to filter a personalized selection of projects. Friday publications of both the news update and construction bulletin include a listing of all projects available, low bids and project awards. Other Features: Tracking & Search Filters / Daily Updates Receive immediate e-mail notification when a project comes out for bid that fits within the boundaries of your search filter. Receive nightly email notification of addenda that affect your tracked projects as they are added to the STORM. Personalized Company Notes Leave information pertinent to a project exclusively for your employees and fellow coworkers right on the project detail page. Bidders List As with BX Leads you can add yourself to the bidders list on any projects in the Virtual Plansroom. Statistical Research Track a company’s bid history on our database, including BX Leads, Active projects and Post-bid projects. Project Request Form Use this form if you know of an upcoming project you would like to have VBX track. Our staff will make every effort to get the information in-house and online for you. Invitation to Bid The invitation to Bid is an important document that is time-consuming to create. With a single click, you can pull the vital information directly from the Project Detail page and either print, fax or email it directly to the suppliers and sub-contractors you choose.
